Arghilian's Military Legacy
Arghilian's military history is a long and complex tapestry, marked by legendary units, devastating weaponry, and pivotal conflicts that have shaped the nation's destiny. The DDP has authorized the release of the following information to provide insight into our martial legacy and current defense posture.
Legacy and Infamous Military Divisions
DBC (Divine Blood Cells)
The DBC was a formidable force created by the Nomectosian Kingdom of Teplonon. This group, considered a terrorist organization by its adversaries, was aimed at defeating the OSR (Orbital Space Republic) and Martian Island (later Triumbias). The DBC was ultimately defeated by the OSR's second landing mission on the shores of Latonos deg Mileioas.
Frohlikliaien degas MaLeoias
Founded by Sranduan Frohlikliaien, the first husband of Frijhidien Late, this military group was heavily involved in the FLI (First Lingual Incursion) related war events. They are noted for committing the most war crimes in Arghilian's history.
Vulcanglass Fleet
The UDSHA (Union of Democratic States of Hoch Arghilien) created the Vulcanglass Fleet to combat the Republic of Latonos. This strategically important Sea-Battle Form Division, comprised of 'fishmen', achieved victory due to Latonos's errors in sea battles. Their ships were named for their obsidian material. The success of this fleet was a contributing factor to the Great Conflict (the 800-Year War) lasting for such an extended period.
Squadron "Death"
Following the destruction of Arghilian's original planetary system, the UDSHA dispatched Squadron "Death" to hunt down the remnants of the rebel Dialectical State of Ichrapotien. Only one ship from this squadron returned from their mission aboard a Trichonderogan II class galaxy destroyer. Survivors reported extensive damage to other star systems during the hunt, and the tragic, permanent loss of the Mother-Planet in space. This event is considered one of the saddest and most horrible in Arghilian's history due to the failure to find other habitable planets.
Neutral Peacekeeping Force of the Union
Formed after the end of the Great Conflict, this was the last major legacy military group. Destined to defend the Line of (Szquegerre) Ceegzuhuk, they were considered undefeatable due to extensive space-stational support, including a laser-defense system built by the Union after defeating Dinnotophien at AT 1953. The Union elevated rebels who aided in this victory to form this Neutral military group, recognized by all nations under the NPFD (Neutral Peacekeeping Force Document).
The Most Incredible Weapons in Arghilian's History
Project Ambrosias
A terrifying bio-weapon from the first inner-Nomectosian conflict. Ambrosias was an animal whose venom, harmless to most, was lethal to its specific prey. The Dinnosiens were initially defeated by Teplosians using this gas. Later, in AT 541, the Dinnosiens used a modified mRNA-biotechnology version of the poison to render the Teplosians extinct.
T.B.B.A.
An unknown weapons project created by FLI aliens during the SLI (Second Lingual Incursion). It was never deployed as its creation site was destroyed, an event which led to the formation of the great Neutral Zone.
Alt-F18 Virus
Developed by Dinnotophien during the 'name-changing war' to win the AT 1830's second wave fight against Latonon. Frijhidien Late, a biologist at the time, and the Great General and Emperor of the Union, found a cure. Details about this virus are heavily redacted due to its horrific nature.
Trichonderogan II Class Galaxy Destroyers
Initially built by The Ichrapotien Coalition before the Union, these massive vessels could carry nearly 2 million soldiers, 22 large "death-lasers," 14 laser-cannons, 200 Frohlik-squadrons, 2 shield generators, 4 bridges, and house nearly 4 million in cabins. Most of these ships were destroyed in later wars, with the last Ark of Arghilian being a severely damaged remnant.
Death-Lasers and Frohlik-Squadrons
Considered the best space-based weaponry. Frohlik-squadrons were modified laser-weaponed satellites, with 5000 units per squadron, capable of subduing civilizations on habitable planets. These were developed by the MUB (likely Military Universal Body/Bureau) to protect habitable planets from invasion, a lesson learned from invasions of the home planet.
Declaration of Demilitarization
The military of Arghilian is currently in a rebuilding process. Based on historical knowledge and its time in Orbis, Arghilian aims for a peaceful existence and intends to settle calmly for the coming decades.
Following a public RaCTE document, the ASOD (Arghilian Special Operations Division) and SsIP (Special Secret Intelligence Project) will not initiate further weapons-related research or create similar deadly objects. The PTCD (Post-Conflict Treaty Document) is being modified to reflect that Arghilian will not use nuclear-related weapons in upcoming wars and will only destroy a nation if it attacks Arghilian's allies.
